I didn't arrive at this life in a straight line.
I lost my mother to breast cancer when I was seventeen. I spent decades figuring out what to do with that grief — and with the responsibility of living years she never got.
I managed type 1 diabetes for most of my life. I survived thyroid and skin cancer. I went through dialysis. I received a kidney and pancreas transplant at thirty-two, which gave me my life back.
I divorced at forty and blew up my life entirely— the best and (one of) the hardest things I’ve ever done. I returned to school at forty-eight and earned two associate's degrees in psychology while completing my 200 and 300-hour yoga teacher certifications and NB-HWC coaching credentials.
I remarried the love of my life, and we moved to Baja California, Mexico, to change our lives and do some good. I’m mom to five rescues, three dogs and two cats who have seen me through everything and
I quit alcohol and nicotine seven years ago, adopted radical honesty, and found the balance I needed to live my best life possible.
WHAT I DO NOW
Along with hosting Feraly 50, my podcast dedicated to empowering women and embracing life and aging with a feral joy, I am a certified NB-HWC Health and Wellness Coach and E-RYT 200/300 Yoga Teacher. I specialize in somatic recovery, breath-led movement, and habit coaching for women over forty who are rebuilding their health — whether they're in perimenopause, in recovery, managing a chronic illness, or simply done with the version of themselves that kept shrinking to fit.
My approach is not gentle. It's honest. It's grounded in real neuroscience, real psychology, and a real life that has been through more than most.
If you're ready to stop managing your health and start actually living in your body in the most authentic, ferally unapologetic, vibrant way possoble, you're in the right place.
